St Ignatius Parish School, Bourke

Since our intial meeting in Cobar last year, the staff of St. Ignatius have been very busy writing and implementing our Action Plan.
Yesterday on the 17th March 2011, we were able to show the other schools what we have been doing in Bourke for the last 2 terms lin 2010 and also the beginning of 2011.
I have provided links to our Action Plan for 2010.
Our Mid-Point Presentation.

After much discussion yesterday, we are in the process of revising our plan, and deciding the direction we should follow with regards to out initial goal of assisting students in becoming more independent learners by developing their comprehension skills through our focused teaching of reading.

Hello everyone in Bourke. Just wondering how your plan is going. Have you determined which direction you are going to in regards to your goal. Simone Harding 8th June, 2011
